TEAM

A graduate of the Academy of Arts with a specialisation in graphics and photography, Giulia started sailing on Optimists as a child, alternating sailing with horseback riding. At the age of 20 she started windsurfing, a discipline she still practises together with wingfoil and foil windsurfing. During her last years at the Academy, she freelanced as Motocross and Freestyle Motocross competitions sports photographer around the world and worked for a photo studio and a media agency. During the 2013 America's Cup she was in San Francisco to visit her father - at the time an engineer for Oracle - and joined the team as assistant photographer, capturing the American Defender's comeback against ETNZ. In 2014 she joins Luna Rossa, taking care of the production of the boat's performance material. During the 35th America’s Cup she worked in the Event hospitality in Bermuda. In 2017 she rejoined Luna Rossa as media & social manager (photo/ video, website). In her spare time she enjoys travelling with her van and her dog.
