From 2000 to 2009 he lived in Sharm El Sheikh, where he co-founded the first diving center in the Red Sea and organized several world record attempts as well as two AIDA world championships. In 2009 he returned to his native Sardinia and founded a freediving school where he brought, in 2014, the third AIDA world championship to Cagliari. This is his second America’s Cup.
