Born in 1991 in Cagliari, Italy, Massimiliano studied to be a professional surveyor, but his great passion for cooking led him to work in the restaurant business from a very young age. From 2000 to 2013, before joining the Luna Rossa team (2014), he gained experience as an assistant chef at important hotels and restaurants in Sardinia. The 2024 edition will be his second America's Cup experience, again with Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli. His hobbies are soccer and motors-especially motorcycles-but he is also a great lover of the sea and considers himself very lucky to live on an island.
